Description:

Adrenal Complex contains herbs traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to support the healthy functioning of the adrenal glands.

Indications

Licorice root and Rehmannia rhizome are traditionally used in Western herbal medicine to support the healthy functioning of the adrenal glands.

Dose

Adults: Take 1 tablet 2-3 times daily.

Ingredients

Allergen Information

• No Added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, egg, sesame seeds, artificial flavours or colours.
• Vegan friendly.

Excipients

Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, sodium starch glycollate.

Warnings

• Due to Licorice: contraindicated in hypertension (including women who are prone to hypertension during pregnancy), oedema and in those taking thiazide or loop diuretics; not recommended during pregnancy, except at the lowest dosage for short periods.
• Avoid long-term use in patients taking antihypertensive medications, digoxin and potassium-depleting drugs other than thiazide and loop diuretics (such as corticosteroids). Caution is advised in patients taking cilostazol due to the risk of hypokalaemia. Place patients on a high-potassium diet.
• Caution is advised in patients receiving prednisolone by injection, those taking albendazole and those with elevated liver enzymes taking immunosuppressives.
• Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia.
• If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice.
