Description:

Silymarin is traditionally used in Western herbal medicine as a liver tonic to help promote healthy liver function.

Indications

• St Mary's Thistle is used traditionally in Western herbal medicine:
• As a liver tonic and to enhance liver health
• To help promote healthy liver function
• For symptomatic relief of non-specific dyspepsia
• To relieve symptoms of indigestion
• As an antioxidant herb that scavenges free radicals

Dose:

Adults: 1 tablet 2-3 times daily

• No added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, corn, egg, sesame seeds or artificial colours.
• Vegan friendly

Excipients

Calcium Hydrogen Phosphate Dihydrate, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Magnesium Stearate, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Sodium Starch Glycollate.

Warning:

• In anaemia and cases where iron supplementation is required, please do not take it simultaneously with meals or iron supplements.
• Not to be taken at the same time with immunosuppressive drugs, and caution is advised in those with elevated liver enzymes taking immunosuppressive drugs.
• Caution in patients taking domperidone, metronidazole, ornidazole, insulin or oral hypoglycaemic drugs, talinolol and nifedipine
• Discontinue 7 days prior to general anaesthesia
