Dose

Adults: 1 tablet only 2-3 times daily with meals.

Do not exceed this recommended dosage.

Ingredients

Each tablet contains:
Chromium (as Chromium chloride hexahydrate) 209 micrograms
Chromium (as Chromium nicotinate) 14 micrograms
Total elemental Chromium 223 micrograms
Gymnema sylvestre (Gymnema) extract 200 mg
Derived from leaf dry 3.2 g
Standardised to gymnemic acids 50 mg
Zinc (as zinc gluconate) 15 mg
Calcium pantothenate 100 mg
Manganese (as Manganese amino acid chelate) 2 mg
Magnesium (as magnesium phosphate pentahydrate) 22 mg
Selenium (as Selenomethionine) 8 micrograms
Nicotinamide 50 mg
Nicotinic acid 20 mg
Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) 150 micrograms
Pyridoxine hydrochloride (Vit. B6) 50 mg

Allergen Information

  • No Added: Gluten, soya bean, milk, lactose, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustacea, corn, egg, sesame seeds, artificial sweeteners, colours or flavours.
  • Suitable for vegans.

Excipients

Calcium hydrogen phosphate dihydrate, croscarmellose sodium, crospovidone, hypromellose, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, povidone.

Warning

  • Stop taking this medication if you experience tingling, burning or numbness and see your healthcare practitioner as soon as possible (it contains vitamin B6).
  • This product contains Selenium which is toxic in high doses. A daily dose of 150 mcg for adults of Selenium from dietary supplements should not be exceeded.
  • It contains Zinc which may be dangerous if taken in large amounts or for a long time.
  • Particular care should be exercised where the patient is taking insulin or oral hypoglycaemic drugs.
  • If taking tetracycline, quinolone, fluoroquinolone antibiotics, or bisphosphonates (osteoporosis drugs), separate doses by at least two hours.
  • Nicotinic acid may cause a temporary flushing reaction in sensitive individuals. To minimise the chance of this occurring, always follow label recommendations of taking only one tablet at any time, preferably with food. For sensitive individuals, it could prove beneficial to start with one tablet daily and gradually increase the total dose over 3 to 4 weeks as tolerance to nicotinic acid generally builds over a short period.
  • Vitamin and mineral supplements should not replace a balanced diet.
  • It may contain traces of phenylalanine.
  • Discontinue seven days prior to general anaesthesia.
  • If patient symptoms persist, seek additional professional advice.
